Soon to be 21! Happy Birthday Elder Gross

I know I haven't update Elder Gross' blog in a very long time.......

He has been in the town of Loveland since Feb. 1st. He lives on a ranch with lots of farm animals. He gets to help out with them too, which he loves.

As far as missionary work goes things have been very slow. He is in a wealthy area and the people there aren't interested. He likes the ward members and the Bishop is very missionary minded too. Elder Gross' last few e-mails have been a bit discouraging. He hasn't been feeling well physically, and even went to the ER for migraines recently. This compounded with little investigator interest has made this transfer very challenging(he said). He said it has been his biggest trial so far in his mission.

We enjoyed our Mother's Day phone call with him and it was good to hear his infamous laugh.

I am asking you as our friends and family to please keep him in your prayers so as he can get the extra divine help that he is needing at this time.

Elder Gross turns 21 this Friday, May 28th. We can't believe where the time has gone! Lately I have been thinking a lot about how time flies and we need to live life to the fullest each day!
Thanks for any support you offer to Elder Gross. We really appreciate you all!

Transfers Today!! Off to Loveland......

This was Elder Gross' letter from today.....

"Yes, I am off to Loveland....Crazy News! I am so sad to be leaving this area, but I am excited to be off to a new one. So my last week in this area was so good. I am going to miss all the baptisms that we have just set up....Hughh...Oh well I am just glad we were able to get this area back on its feet before I left. I feel like we worked really hard to get things going here and it happened!!

My new companion is from Samoa, and he is smaller than me and skinny! But it should be fun! So that is it for this week....Taught a lot of lessons and made a difference in peoples' lives!!!!!!
