Latest news from Mother's day phone call........

Well we got to talk to Elder Gross on Mother's day and it was awesome!! It was great to hear his laugh again. We miss that infectious laugh of his. He told us about many of his experiences and the people he has met and taught. He sounds so grown up and happy. When we asked him about his mission president and his wife his voice got very tender and he said they are awesome and he loves them! He still says one of his favorite things to do is tracking door to door. He said he likes it because he likes meeting people and talking to them. Then he says when he sees them around town they recognize him and say hi again. We asked him if the mission is hard and he said "no" He said it is all I have to think about and do. I don't have to think about other "life" things. He said he is exhausted every night. He has now been out 7 months and has been serving in the same ward in the same town of Broomfield. It will be hard to leave when he is eventually transferred he said.
