New Area as of June 1st

It has been a while since I updated the blog lately.....Here is a little bit of what has been going on this past month with Elder Gross....He said.....

"I was transferred from Broomfield, 7 months in the same place! It was hard to say good-bye to the members after being there so long. They gave me a party and everything before leaving. I am now in Longmont which is a similar town. My companion is Elder Albino from Molokai, Hawaii. We made friends instantly in the MTC so I am excited to be serving with him. This area needs a lot of work and we have been very busy finding investigators and working with the members on missionary goals.

Two weeks ago we were having tornadoes in the area and when we were in church a tornado alarm in town went off indicating that a tornado had hit ground level. Pretty crazy storm weather around these parts.(just picture me saying that with a redneck voice!! haha)

Today(6/29/09) for P-day we did a sunrise hike with a member. He does photography so that was cool to see. Then we went to Lyons and did the freestyle dirt park for mountain bikes. The jumps are huge and lots of fun!!:)

This past week we had interviews with President. A different style this time, but I liked it. I have a lot to work on, but don't we all. I love meeting with President, sometimes it is a slap in the face to wake me up, but it is all good stuff. Just busy here doing our thing in the mission!! All is well! I love you guys!" Elder Gross
